Witness The World
A multimedia project looking at different cultures and people around the world.
Witness the World has been an idea I have bounced around my head for probably ten years. It has never quite materialized the way I wanted to make it happen. I think I am getting close. On Instagram, I spent thirty days posting a photo I took from around the world each day.
Right now, I would like to take this a bit further. It will take a little time. I can’t add immediately more new images since most of us are locked at home. I would like to begin to build music and maybe words to each image. In the style of StoryCenter’s digital stories, it would be awesome to build an archive of places around the world with story and music that show my experiences of those places.
In a perfect world, with lots of funding, it would be amazing to have many voices from around the world expressing their music, images, and stories of locations. It might take a little while to get there. For now, I will settle with adding many of my photos from around the world to this project and as I can compose and write the edited stories, I will add them here.
